Steve JorgensonPartner and Chief Executive Officer
The founder of Solterra Senior Living, Steve Jorgenson serves as its Chief Executive Officer focusing his efforts on acquisitions and development, and strategically expanding the company’s brand.
Jorgenson brings a wealth of entrepreneurial success and experience in technology, sales, strategic alliances and real estate development to the company. After a successful professional career in high technology, Jorgenson joined his father, Jeffrey J. Jorgensen, as founders of Solterra Senior Living in 2005. To date, they have designed and developed two Arizona projects under the Solterra Senior Living brand: Solterra at Chandler, a 100-room assisted living community that opened in 2008, and Solterra at White Mountains, a 117-unit assisted living and independent living community in Lakeside, Ariz.
Under Jorgenson’s supervision, Solterra at Colorado LLC was formed in 2008 to acquire three senior care communities in Castle Rock and Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Ryan WeissmuellerCFO Financial Advisor
Ryan J. Weissmueller has extensive experience in transactional and managerial finance with a career spanning strategic financial consulting as well as investment banking for middle market operating business and real estate development company clients.

He has held various roles at GE Capital and has extensive experience in both underwriting and origination of middle market commercial finance and has completed transactions ranging from less than $1 million to more than $250 million. Weissmueller is also a certified public accountant and serves Solterra Senior Living in a consultative role.

Inge DuranVice President of Operations
As Vice President of Operations for Solterra Senior Living, Inge Duran is responsible for the company’s billing, revenue enhancement and maximization functions.

Possessing more than 20 years of experience in the health care industry, Inge has worked in a variety of health care environments ranging from continuing care retirement communities and traditional long-term care facilities, to sub-acute specialty programs. She has worked with national skilled nursing home chains, as well as independent owners and operators, and has held a variety of positions, including director of accounts receivable, director of financial services, and controller.

A licensed Assisted Living Administrator, Inge provides Solterra Senior Living with specialized expertise combining financial and operational experience rarely found in the health care industry.

Sofia OvadyaVice President of Finance
Sofia has extensive experience in providing management with the analytical, budgeting, accounting and financial reporting activities. She brings several years of hybrid experience combining advanced accounting functions with the underlying systems integration and support. Her background is concentrated on managing multi-entity environments within health-care industries. She specialize in managing various accounting functions within large, diverse environments, with focus on streamlining accounting processes by utilizing reporting and automation features of the accounting platform as well as various related tools to achieve maximum efficiency.

Sofia earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Accounting from Queens College of NY. Her past affiliations include Menorah Home & Hospital (NY), Metropolitan Jewish Health System (NY), & National HealthCare Associates (NY).

Joshua BregerRegional Director of Rehab Services
Josh is the Regional Director of Rehab Services for Collaborative Rehab, a Solterra company. He oversees the daily operations of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology, as well as business planning and development. Josh brings over five years of leadership experience, including implementation of rehab programs within the acute-care and skilled nursing settings. He has previously held leadership and clinical positions at Restora Hospital of Sun City, Select Specialty Hospital, and InSpeech, Inc.

Josh holds a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Ithaca College.

Antoinette AlexanderDirector of Nursing | Clinical Services Resource
Antoinette oversees the operations of the nursing department for Solterra Subacute Services, our
Phoenix-based 103-bed skilled nursing facility. Her areas of expertise encompass bedside dialysis, respiratory, and progressive wound care programs.

With over thirty years in healthcare, Antoinette brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, serving as Solterra’s Clinical Services Resource. She is responsible for providing leadership and management of clinical services in accordance with federal, state (AZ and CO), and local standards. Her leadership aligns with the company’s policies to promote the highest degree of quality care and services to our residents.

Antoinette acquired her R.N. degree from San Diego State School of Nursing and holds several Certifications, including Director of Nursing Long Term Care, Quality Management System, abaqis QIS, Maintenance and Removal of PICC Lines, and APIC Program on Infection Control and Prevention.

Melissa BarryRegional Director of Business Development
Melissa is responsible for leading Solterra’s marketing efforts towards the strategic goals of promoting the company’s brand, developing and sustaining organic growth and market share, and supporting Operations with her extensive 19 year background in the healthcare industry.

Melissa gained her early experience working as a nurse in the Phoenix Veteran’s Administration Hospital in the psychiatric, rehabilitation and geriatric departments. In 2000, she transitioned to the administrative and marketing side of the industry, helping major healthcare companies grow their business. As a clinical liaison, she worked with patients and their families to provide support, be an advocate for their special needs, and ensured they were all treated with an exceptional level of customer service and dignity. She also was an Assisted Living Facility Certified Manager and oversaw the successful opening of a large north Phoenix facility.

Melissa served two years on the Traumatic Brain Injury Governor’s Council, was a member of the National Association of Professional Women, and the Arizona Coalition on Aging. She has worked on projects supporting important charity work including the Arizona Alzheimer Association, the American Heart Association and United Blood Services. She is a graduate of Wichita State University’s nursing program.
